39359 Absolutely devoid of a 'recognizable' sound, these tracks feel the mating ritual songs at an orgy of 4 lava lamps. I like the abstraction, the clean tones for the most part. Some tracks have nice goofy rhythmic elements, the last gets dynamic yet, is still limited by its 'sterility'of the sound produced. It makes me want to see the visuals, perhaps because I feel like I'm missing something. It might sound great really loud on a bad sound system. It also feels a bit like development is still in the gimmick stage, and not yet a mature instrument. The idea of creating sounds with a joystick/3-D visual interface is very exciting. Hopefully, exciting enough to find a way to make it more musical or expressive. But I don't mean it should imitate a sequencer or drum machine.
